Engagement Ring of the Week

Categories

Our current engagement ring of the week is a beautiful balance of fine details. From the 1920s, this Art Deco jewel features an overall shape that was very popular for this time period. What sets it apart is the combination of unique details. The shoulders of the ring are pierced and center undulating, geometric details set with diamonds. Under the diamond is delicate filigree work with a subtle inward angle mirroring the taper of the band. To finish it all off the band has beautiful hand engraving.

Art Deco diamond engagement ring on hand from Doyle & Doyle

Unlike many vintage rings, this ring is designed for a wedding band to sit flush next to it.  The tapered filigree work allows the band to nestle in closer to the engagement ring.

Featuring an Old European diamond weighing app. 1.05ct (I-J color, SI1 clarity), flanked by diamonds weighing app. 0.08ctw., fashioned in platinum. Size 6 3/4. Item 098749R.
