What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. We also accept Doyle & Doyle gift cards.

Can I put a hold on a piece?

Yes, you can! You can secure the piece for 7 days with a 25% deposit, taking it off our website. If you decide not to purchase the item at the end of the 7 day period, your deposit converts to a store credit, which is valid for 5 years.

Do you offer financing or payment plan?

Yes, we are happy to offer easy monthly financing through Affirm. Please select Affirm at checkout. This is a commitment to purchase the item and it's not eligible for refund. Payment options through Affirm are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by these lending partners.

Are your prices negotiable?

We do not negotiate prices. We pride ourselves on pricing our pieces fairly and correctly. We have found our customers appreciate knowing that they do not need to haggle at Doyle & Doyle.

When do you get in new jewelry?

We're constantly getting new jewelry. The newest pieces are in New Arrivals. Every month, we have a new jewelry drop on the second Thursday and a new ring drop on the third Thursday of every month. See sneak peeks on Instagram or Facebook. Not on social media? Join our email list to see new arrivals, Heirloom designs, and be invited to events.

Keep in mind that many pieces sell before they hit our website, so reach out immediately if you see something you love.

Hunting for something specific? Please email info@doyledoyle.com and tell us what you're looking for. Or schedule a virtual appointment with an expert team member. We'll comb through our extensive network to help source your dream jewel.

Do you offer a warranty on your pieces?

Our jewelry is sold in as-is condition. Our gemologists thoroughly research each piece, including testing metal fineness and gemstone carat weights. We stand behind our jewelry descriptions. Jewelry, like all material, is susceptible to damage and requires preventative measures and maintenance. It is important to be aware of your jewelry while wearing it and to choose pieces that are appropriate for your lifestyle. We recommend removing all jewelry, especially rings, in situations when contact is expected. We'll work closely with you to determine the best type of jewelry for you.

If your Doyle & Doyle jewelry incurs damage, please email info@doyledoyle.com as soon as possible. We'll let you know that safest way to send your jewelry to us for repair.

We recommend that your Doyle & Doyle diamond and gemstone rings receive a thorough cleaning and inspection by our jeweler every 6 months. The jeweler will examine stone settings for security. Email info@doyledoyle.com and we'll let you know the safest way to mail your ring to us.

Can you resize my ring?

In most cases, yes. Certain styles, such as diamond eternity bands or rings with patterns going all the way around, cannot be sized. All sizable rings purchased at Doyle & Doyle come with a complimentary sizing and one future adjustment if needed. Bear in mind that once sized, the item is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Sizing is currently running 1-2 weeks.

If your previously purchased Doyle & Doyle ring needs sizing, please email info@doyledoyle.com to initiate the process. We'll let you know the safest way to send your ring to us. Unfortunately, we're unable to resize rings that were not originally purchased through Doyle & Doyle.

Will you repair my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?

Yes. We strongly encourage our customers to send their Doyle & Doyle pieces back to us for all subsequent work and repairs. Our jewelers specialize in antique jewelry repair and construction. A skilled modern jeweler is not necessarily capable of working on old jewelry, as construction techniques have changed dramatically over time.

If your Doyle & Doyle jewelry incurs damage, please email info@doyledoyle.com. We'll let you know the safest way for you to send us your jewelry. Once we have the piece in hand, we'll have our jeweler examine it, then we'll contact you with a time and cost estimate for the repair.

If you're unable to send us your piece, be sure to take it to a reputable jeweler that specializes in the repair of antique jewelry. Unfortunately, we're unable to repair jewelry that was not originally purchased through Doyle & Doyle.

Can you appraise my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?

Yes, we offer complimentary appraisals for items purchased at Doyle & Doyle. We recommend checking with your insurance company if you need an appraisal. For many pieces, our detailed sales receipt will suffice.

At the time of purchase, please leave a note at checkout or email info@doyledoyle.com to let us know you'd like an appraisal. Appraisals take about 1-2 weeks to complete by our gemologist before we ship your new jewel. We'll email it to you as a PDF when it's ready.

We can also complete appraisals for jewelry that was previously purchased at Doyle & Doyle. Please email info@doyledoyle.com and we'll let you know the safest way to send us your jewelry. We're unable to appraise jewelry that was not purchased through Doyle & Doyle.

Do you sell only antique jewelry?

In addition to antique jewelry (over 100 years old), we carry vintage (over 25 years old), estate (pre-owned), and new jewelry, including our signature line, Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle.

What is Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle?

Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle is our line of contemporary jewelry, designed in-house and made right here in New York City. The pieces are inspired by historical themes with a timeless aesthetic: future heirlooms for generations to come. Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle encompasses a wide range of jewelry designs, including classic engagement rings, wedding bands, and beautiful gifts.

My favorite piece sold! Can you help me find something similar?

We're so sorry, it's awful when that happens. But we can help! We offer a wish list service: we'll look for jewelry based on your specifications, budget, and time frame. Please email info@doyledoyle.com or schedule a virtual appointment with one of our expert team members. We'll discuss what you're looking for then comb through our extensive network to help source your dream jewel.

Will you buy my jewelry?

We'd love to be able to help you, but we do not purchase pieces directly from the public. We recommend checking online reviews to find a reputable jeweler who purchases antique and vintage pieces. You can also try an auction house with a jewelry specialist, such as Christie's, Sotheby's, Bonhams, or Skinner.

I already have a diamond—do you sell mountings?

We're unfortunately unable to work with outside gemstones. We also do not sell empty mountings without a stone.

Do you sell loose diamonds?

We can source a wide range of antique and modern cut loose diamonds, which we can set into one of our vintage or contemporary ring mountings. An appointment is necessary to view loose diamonds and mountings. Please email info@doyledoyle.com to speak to our diamond coordinator. We do not sell unmounted diamonds.

Are your diamonds graded?

For engagement rings, we provide GIA or EGL USA grading reports for center diamonds of 0.50 carats and over.

Are your diamonds conflict-free?

Most of our diamonds are old cut stones. Since they were mined and cut prior to the 1940s, you can rest assured that your purchase is not funding any current conflict. Our modern diamonds are from sources that state they trade conflict-free.

What is the best way to care for my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?

Jewelry requires special care depending on the materials, condition, and construction of the piece. Basic care involves storing jewelry so that pieces do not touch and removing it before physical activity. To quickly clean stones, use a lint-free polishing cloth to safely remove fingerprints and oil. Generally, metal does not require cleaning and will become more beautiful over time. Consult us before using any jewelry cleaner, ultrasonic, or steam cleaner on your piece. We're happy to provide you with more specific care recommendations, please email info@doyledoyle.com.

Check the settings of your stones regularly, with special attention after a piece incurs impact. If you notice your stone is loose or rattling, please contact us as soon as possible.

We recommend that your Doyle & Doyle diamond and gemstone rings receive a thorough cleaning and inspection by our jeweler every 6 months. The jeweler will examine stone settings for security. Email info@doyledoyle.com and we'll let you know the safest way to mail your ring to us.
