What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express.

Can I put a hold on a piece?

A hold requires a 25% deposit which secures the piece for one week. At the end of the week if you decide not to purchase the item, the deposit converts to a store credit valid for five years.

Do you offer financing?

We offer a payment plan which requires a 50% initial deposit. This is a commitment to purchase the item, the item is not eligible for refund. You then have six months, interest-free, to pay the remainder in any increment you like. The piece remains in the store until it is paid in full. If you fail to complete the payment plan within six months all payments made toward the plan will convert to a store credit. The store credit is valid for five years.

Are your prices negotiable?

We do not negotiate prices. We pride ourselves on pricing our pieces fairly and correctly. We have found our customers appreciate knowing that they do not need to haggle to get a great value at Doyle & Doyle.

Do you offer a warranty on your pieces?

Our jewelry is sold in as is condition. Jewelry, like all material, is susceptible to damage and requires preventative measures and maintenance. It is important to be aware of your jewelry while wearing it and to choose pieces that are appropriate for your lifestyle. We recommend removing all jewelry, especially rings, in situations when contact is expected.

If an item purchased from Doyle & Doyle incurs damage, please bring it to the store. We will take the item in, review the damage and possible cause with our jeweler, and contact you with an estimate for the repair.

We recommend that you bring your gemstone ring every six months to be inspected for stone security by our staff. Any item with a diamond over 0.50 carats must be accompanied by an original EGL or GIA diamond certificate to be taken in for repair.

Can you resize my ring?

All sizeable rings purchased at Doyle & Doyle come with a complimentary sizing and adjustment, if needed. Once sized, the item is no longer returnable or exchangeable. Any ring with a diamond over 0.50 carats must be accompanied by an original EGL or GIA diamond certificate to be taken in for repair. We strongly encourage our customers to bring their pieces purchased from Doyle & Doyle back to us for all subsequent work and repairs. Our jewelers specialize in antique jewelry repair and construction. A skilled modern jeweler is not necessarily capable of working on old jewelry, as construction techniques have change dramatically over time. For your antique jewelry that was not purchased at Doyle & Doyle, or if you are unable to bring or send your piece back to the store, you should only take your piece to a reputable jeweler that specializes in the repair of antique jewelry.

Any item with a diamond over 0.50 carats must be accompanied by an original EGL or GIA diamond certificate to be taken in by Doyle & Doyle for repair.

No, we carry antique, vintage, estate, and new jewelry including our line, Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle.

How often do you acquire new pieces?

Are your diamonds certified?

We provide diamond reports for diamonds over 0.50 carats.

Are your diamonds conflict-free?

Many of our diamonds are old cut stones. Since they were mined and cut prior to the 1940s, you can be assured that your purchase is not funding any current conflict. The round brilliant cut diamonds we carry are from sources that state they trade conflict-free.

What is the best way to care for my jewelry?

Jewelry requires special care depending on the materials, condition, and construction of the piece. Basic care involves storing jewelry so that pieces do not touch each other. To quickly clean stones, use a lint-free polishing cloth to safely remove fingerprints and oil. Generally, metal does not require cleaning and actually becomes more beautiful over time. Do not use jewelry cleaner, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam cleaners without consulting our staff about safe cleaning practices for your specific piece.

Stone settings should be checked for security regularly by the wearer with special attention after a piece incurs impact. Please consult your salesperson for the best way to check the security of your stone. If you notice your stone is loose, bring your piece to the store as soon as possible.

What is Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle?
